Recently, Great Wall Motor officially released the autonomous driving platform ICU 3.0 equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride platform. The mass-produced models equipped with this platform will be officially delivered in the second quarter of 2022. Great Wall Motor also announced that its ICU 3.0 platform will become the autonomous driving computing platform with the largest computing power in China by 2022. At the same time, ICU 3.0 is also the first platform in China to support L4 autonomous driving capabilities in composite scenarios.
ICU 3.0 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride solution, the computing power of the platform board can reach 360TOPS, and can be continuously upgraded to 1440TOPS. While achieving high computing power, the ICU 3.0 based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride platform has a high energy efficiency ratio of 5.5TOPS/W and excellent heat dissipation performance.
In December last year, Great Wall Motors and Qualcomm announced a partnership in the field of autonomous driving. After only half a year, the first product of the cooperation between the two parties has been launched.
